First: there’s nothing to stress about! Your retainer fee holds your date range. We’ll get you booked without a date chosen and as soon as baby arrives (or you’re ready if we’re doing newborn photos) you can text/email/call and we’ll pick the perfect date for your session.

I'm new to Juneau but I'm not new to Alaska, the camera or photographing families and couples. Luckily, I'm a quick study in locations and I already know all about Alaska living from our time in Kodiak. I plan to use the 2026 season to learn the best spots and logistical aspects of running my business in Juneau.

Short answer: whatever feels like you. This is me begging you to not dress up if that's not your thing. Family photos can be beautiful even (especially) if your kiddos is in the Batman pajamas they've been wearing for a week or you're in your favorite pair of jeans.
But for real, after booking, you will receive a style guide with tips and tricks for coordinating colors and choosing patterns if that's important to you.

For lifestyle sessions (engagement, maternity, newborn/fresh 48, family) my current turn around time is 1 week or less.
For wedding and elopements, my current turn around time is 4 weeks or less.

I do not currently offer prints yet, though I highly recommend Freedom Print Lab (www.freedomprintlab.io). Trust me: their quality and shipping speed are wildly good.
You can use your print release to download images and order on your own. I always recommend a color-calibrated print lab for best results.
