As a Juneau family photographer, my approach is really simple: just let you be together.Between school, work, sports and all life's other obligations, how often are we granted permission to forget about our phones and our Google calendars? Rarely.

Family sessions are focused on connection over perfection. No acting, no faking it, no distractions: just being with your people, enjoying each other's company. Juneau isn’t short on beautiful locations, so build your session around your favorite activity or a view you love. Think: playing at the beach, exploring a rocky shoreline or walking a rainforest trail. Oh, and mountains - we have those too!

Bring everyone: grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, babies. These sessions include the time and space for everyone you love in one place which, let's be honest, doesn't happen often enough. Extended family sessions always include that iconic, big group shot and every combination you can think of, but more importantly photo proof of those little moments that only happen when everyone gets together. Pick a location that fits your crew and we'll build from there.

what if we are visiting juneau on a cruise?
Yay! Welcome to Juneau! I’m happy to coordinate times and dates that align with your port call in Juneau. When you book, you’ll receive a location guide that will help you pick a spot that your group can get to easily. For a small fee, I can also provide transportation for up to 6 people.
what do we wear?
Short answer: whatever feels like you. This is me begging you to not dress up if that's not your thing. Photos that feel good look good so be comfortable and dress for the location and weather (even if that means Xtra Tuffs!)
After booking, you will receive a style guide with tips and tricks for coordinating colors and choosing patterns if you want help.
how long does it take to get our photos back?
For lifestyle sessions (engagement, maternity, newborn/fresh 48, family) my current turn around time is 1 week or less.
For wedding and elopements, my current turn around time is 4 weeks or less.
do you offer prints?
I sure do! I am partnered with Freedom Print Lab, a professional grade, color calibrated print lab out of Canada. Freedom Print Lab is known for their high quality, quick turnaround and affordable pricing.
do you offer mini sessions?
I offer 30 minute sessions for family, maternity and engagement sessions. All extended family sessions must be 60 minute sessions.
where are the mini session locations?
Mini sessions are limited to Skater’s Cabin, Brotherhood Bridge and Auke Recreation.
how do i get to our session if i’m visiting on a cruise?
I offer transportation for up to 6 people for a small fee. The fee varies for downtown, valley and “out the road” locations. I can also recommend Turo listings and help with our local bus route.
